CLINTON MORRISON scores his 14th goal of the season as Crystal Palace secure a valuable three points against Preston, winning 1-0.

Due to various players being suspended, Neil Warnock was forced to make a few changes to the team which lost 2-0 to Wolves last weekend.

Lee Hills moved to left back, Paul Ifill took up a place on the wing, and there was room for Victor Moses up front - making his first start for the Eagles.

Palace dominated the first half of play, with Ben Watson, MORRISON and Ifill coming close to breaking the deadlock.

Preston came back at Palace in the second half, and Julian Speroni was alert to keep out efforts from Chris Sedgwick and Lewis Neal.

However, it was in the 76th minute when Palace made a breakthrough, when a Watson corner was flicked on by Moses, and MORRISON finished from close range.

Another Palace youngster in the shape of Ashley Robinson came on for his debut in the closing minutes, and the Eagles held out to secure 3 valuable points.
